About

Elise and her sister in Massachusetts My name is Elise Wagner and this blog is a space where I write about issues and organizations that are  working in innovative ways to have a positive impact on the world. I will discuss interesting  organizations and companies, the vastly growing field of social entrepreneurship, and articles and  books on the subject. I hope you find something here that inspires you.

A little about me..I work at a for-profit company whose mission is to help children in the developing world. Prior to my work here, I worked in outreach at a documentary film and new media organization that brings awareness to social justice issues. After graduating from college, I spent an academic year teaching English in the French Guiana and interned at Helen Keller International, the Alan Lomax Archive and the Los Angeles Craft and Folk Art Museum. I enjoy to travel and experience new cultures and my French language interest has brought me to France, West Africa and French-speaking South America. I am a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and am currently living in Los Angeles.
